Easter

Remember Caroline's Easter basket I showed you? Well she loved it. I call Easter morning a success. (Yes, yes, this post is a little late, but still worth sharing...)
Caroline has really started to love reading. She is finally able to sit still, even just for a brief time, to be captivated by a book.
The rubber ducks were a big hit, too. We used them in our bath this past weekend. Caroline seems to be especially drawn to the pink one. That's my girl.
Surprisingly, even the bucket seemed to provide a bit of entertainment. Who knew?
Caroline also got an Easter basket from Nanny Bonnie - and it was bigger than the one the "Easter Bunny" dropped off at our house!
But that's ok, this Easter Bunny didn't mind. Whatever makes Caroline a happy camper. She loved all the treats and is clearly a very loved little girl.
She did like the bow, the best though. I think she played with the bow more than any of her other surprises.
But the best part about Easter? Caroline wore my old dress. It juuuust fit, but I am thankful to have a photo of her in it.

Her expressions are the best. Especially the one when she had the bucket on her head. I died.
Darling. But I must say that I love your star bowl on the table with the fruit!
Sarah - I nabbed that star bowl from Pier 1 more than a year ago. I am not sure they still carry it, but I love it too!
